Young Life | Capernaum

Young Life leaders have the privilege of knowing and sharing their lives with teenagers and young adults. While all Young Life activities are open to every high school student, many Young Life areas have dedicated programs for students and young adults with disabilities, typically referred to as Young Life Capernaum Ministries. Young Life Capernaum gives young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities.

Jason has been a leader with Young Life Capernaum for 3 years with the Issaquah/Sammamish chapter.  From taking kids to camp, to movie and bowling nights, to hiking and just hanging out, Jason has discovered a profound desire and joy in walking alongside his friends in this journey of life.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America | Bellevue

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started each and every day.

Jason has recently coached a 3rd grade flag football team with Bellevue Boys and Girls Club and plans to continue to volunteer for this wonderful program.
